California or Bust

Well, I have made it.

After two days of over 24 hours of travel: stopping in Santa Fe a town filled with history, beauty, and peace, and then on to the Grand Canyon, another place that can only bring more confirmation of a God who watches over us and provides the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets that gives us another reason to love Him more. I have spent the last three summers in, Tanzania, Argentina, and now most recently Asia and sadly those adventures have come and gone. But now, I have arrived in San Diego, unpacked, and have begun my explorations of my new city. This time, I’m starting an adventure that I don’t have to come home from. My life and home is here now, and it is beautiful. I will be tested. I will take on challenges, and I’m even sure ill fail. But that’s really the only way you learn more about yourself, the people around you and this life we live.

more to come,

and come visit meeee :)

Memories

I cannot believe that i am back from thailand and home. Maybe this is because my body still thinks I'm there or maybe its because im in a mild state of depression when i realize i am not with all my yogis that i just spent an entire month with. I have already decided that i will make a point to go and visit each and everyone of them all over the world. The one question i have been asked the most sine i've been back is  "what was your favorite part of the trip?" and thats really a  no-brainer for me... the people. I have learned so much from each and every one of them. And all this experience really was for me was seeing more of the beauty of the world. My eyes have seen so much and my ears have heard so many new things, i cannot help but sit and meditate on everything that has just passed. Of course, i also was trained to be an instructor, but i have learned far more than just that.   I cannot help but wish i was back. Despite the food. Despite the long plane ride. I would go back just to be with my friends. All that i have left is memories of thailand, pictures, notes, and my yoga practice. The day i got back, i immediately started practicing, and have already taught a few friends. Everyday is more reassurance that this is what i am supposed to be doing. I love teaching others because i find so much joy in seeings others benefit from the yoga practice.   Now that i am back, i am already planning for my next move, San Diego. This is such an exciting time in my life and i am so happy i get to share it with you.

More to come,

Frances
